山to海
『太陽光によって海水が蒸発し湿気が風に乗り上昇気流に巻き込まれます。そして山頂付近で雲となり積乱雲が形成されて雨が降り、降った雨は山に還り、地中を通って草木の重要な栄養分となります。吸収されなかった雨は谷に集まり川へと流れ込み、川に生きる生物を育みながら清流となりまた海に戻ります。山と海は密接に繋がっています。』私たちが生きていくうえで必要不可欠な山to海。写真を見て神秘的で壮大な自然の造形美感じてもらえたら幸いです。

‘Sunlight causes seawater to evaporate, and the resulting moisture is carried by the wind and swept up into rising air currents. Near the mountain peaks, this forms clouds and cumulonimbus clouds, which then bring rain. The rain returns to the mountains, seeping into the ground to become vital nutrients for plants and trees. Rain that is not absorbed collects in the valleys and flows into rivers; as it nourishes the creatures living in the rivers, it becomes clear water and returns to the sea. The mountains and the sea are closely connected.’ The mountain-to-sea cycle is essential to our very existence. I hope that, as you look at these photographs, you will sense the mysterious and majestic beauty of nature’s creations
17歳で波乗りと出会い自然の偉大さと
素晴らしさに魅了される。
同時にビーチに打ち上げられている
プラスチックゴミの多さや海洋汚染を知り
海を守る行動を開始する。
30代に林業の職に就き仕事をしながら自然と触れ
山の壮大さと美しさを知る。
仕事中の事故で左目失明と両手指欠損
山と海の繋がりを伝えたくてカメラを手に取る。
最初に山の撮影からカメラの基礎を学び、
独学で水中撮影を始める。

In my thirties, I took up a job in forestry, and whilst working, I came into contact with nature
and came to appreciate the grandeur and beauty of the mountains.
Following an accident at work that left me blind in my left eye and with fingers missing from both hands,
I picked up a camera in the hope of conveying the connection between the mountains and the sea.
I first learnt the basics of photography by photographing the mountains,
and then began teaching myself underwater photography.

写真を個展で販売し、売上の一部をRebornに寄付
近畿の山を中心に撮影
（奈良、兵庫、鳥取、島根、滋賀、長野、岐阜etc)
関西近郊の海を中心に撮影
(徳島、高知、宮崎、京都、鳥取、福井etc）
